Joanne Lam is a Senior Vice President of Wealth Management at Freedom Capital Management. Specializing in retirement planning, wealth transfer, and succession strategies, she guides families, business owners, and executives in optimizing financial plans and achieving lasting security.

Before joining Freedom Capital Management, Joanne served domestic and international high-net-worth clients as a Senior Financial Consultant at HSBC Securities, worked on a senior advisory team at Morgan Stanley, and began her advisory career with Citigroup Smith Barney in 2007. Earlier, she spent over a decade in tax compliance at Fortune 500 companies, including six years at Goldman Sachs analyzing legislative proposals and their business impact. This experience forms the foundation for her strategic approach to wealth management and fuels her passion for helping clients secure their financial futures.

Joanne earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fordham University’s College of Business Administration. She lives in Holmdel, New Jersey, with her husband and two children, and enjoys rock climbing, ropes courses, water sports, and travel, which broaden her family’s global perspective and appreciation for diverse cultures.
